Why no app store?
Apple's and Google's app stores don't allow firearm marketplace apps, so TGX can't be listed there. Instead, TGX installs directly from your browser — same icon, same experience, no app store involved.

TGX sits on your home screen like any other app — one tap and you're in.
Push alerts
Get notified about messages and new listings. On iPhone, push alerts only work when TGX is installed.
Full-screen browsing
No browser bars or tabs — the whole screen is TGX.
How to install
On a phone or tablet, the steps depend on your device — pick yours below.
On iPhone or iPad (Safari)
- Open thegunexchangeusa.com in Safari (not inside Facebook or another app).
- Tap the Share button — the square with the arrow pointing up, circled above.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add. That's it — TGX is on your home screen.
On Android (Chrome)
- Open thegunexchangeusa.com in Chrome, then tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner.
- In the menu, tap Install and create shortcut.
- Confirm, and TGX installs to your home screen — that's the icon you'll tap from now on.
A note on push alerts
Push notifications work automatically on Android once TGX is installed. To make sure they pop up with sound, see the Android notifications walkthrough. On iPhone, alerts only arrive when the site is installed to your home screen — that's an Apple limitation, not a TGX one.
TGX never appears in an app store, and it never asks for app-store credentials.
